Why I Chose This Hotel
Dubai is full of flashy spots, but I wanted something a little calmer, a little more spacious — with that luxury feel. The First Collection hotel in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) looked like the perfect hideaway, and it totally delivered. It’s not right in the middle of the city, but that actually made it more relaxing.
The Vibe
Think sleek, modern interiors with warm tones and that classic Dubai energy — but in a more peaceful setting. The whole hotel feels new and polished, but still welcoming.
My Room
My room had a big comfy bed and a gorgeous view of the Dubai skyline in the distance. Perfect for slow mornings with coffee and fast WiFi (also: I actually got some work done!). Super clean, calm, and cozy.
What I Loved Most

The rooftop pool was everything — spacious, stylish, and not too busy. I could’ve stayed there all day.

The gym had everything I needed, from cardio to weights (which I appreciate when I’m traveling).

Would I Stay Again?
Absolutely. This is now one of my go-to spots for Dubai when I want space, quiet, and a rooftop pool with a view. It’s a luxury escape that doesn’t feel too “extra” — just right.
